Our School

Facility Hire

Scalby School has facilities that it lets out on a commercial basis, that include:

  • Sports Hall, suitable for netball, 5-a-side football, basketball and badminton etc.
  • Gym, suitable for smaller classes e.g. keep-fit, circuit training etc.
  • IT Suites, with between 16 and 32 PC’s per room
  • Main Hall
  • Drama Studio
  • Conference facilities
  • Music Practice Rooms
  • Classrooms, and
  • Outdoor netball, 5-a-side football, tennis and basketball

Our Main Hall has recently been re-equipped with state-of-the-art stage lighting and audio-visual facilities, making it a great place to hold conferences, presentations and performing arts events, with an audience capacity of up to 250. The Drama studio is also fully equipped with its own lights and control desk.

We have video-conferencing facilities in both classroom and Conference Room settings.

On-street car parking is available during school hours and private parking is available after hours and during school holidays. Catering and refreshments are also available and can be tailored to suit every event.
