Uniform The policy of students wearing the specified school dress has the backing of the Governors, staff and parents.

Full school dress must be worn when travelling to and from school. The basic school colours are petrol blue and gold as reflected in the girls' skirts and in ties and blazer badges.

The official stockist of the listed items is "Rumours", Victoria Road, Scarborough.

All items must be clearly labelled with personalised name tags, ultra violet pen or indelible ink so that if an item is misplaced it can be returned to its owner.

Appearance
In the Summer Term, 2006, the school began a process of reviewing its uniform. Students have voted for their preferred choice and details are on the school eXtranet.

Governors have received a presentation by students and the next stage of the process will be to consult staff and parents. Governors will finally decide upon any changes, to be made in September 2007, and all parents, especially those of new students, will be informed well in advance.
Uniform Shop
This provides the opportunity for parents to buy or sell second hand articles of school uniform (a small percentage of any profit goes to the School Fund). Any parent who wishes to sell or purchase an article must complete and sign an official sales’ form obtainable from Mrs Ford.
