ADMINISTRATOR

We require a cheerful, flexible person to work as part of a small office team.  The successful candidate will have good communication skills and up to date IT experience. They will be working within the busy environment of the school office contributing to the administration for the school.  They will provide a range of duties including a friendly reception service.  Excellent organisational skills are essential to cope with the demands of this busy office.

COVER SUPERVISOR

36.5 hpw over 5 days

To supervise work set for classes of students during the short-term absence of teachers and provide basic clerical support.

Term-Time only (44.3 weeks per year)

Grade D Points SCP 4-6

You will be responsible for the behaviour and management of classes during the absence of teaching staff.  You will deliver work planned by the absent teacher while managing the behaviour of the class with the aim of keeping them on task. You may also cover a duty of pre and post school activities within working hours.

The Cover Supervisor’s role involves creating the conditions for effective student learning, through positive and engaging classroom management.

Building relationships with students is also key as part of our permanent staff.

You will ideally have previous experience of classroom management or managing groups of children in voluntary setting and will possess excellent communication skills.

Seasonal to coincide with exams, variable and on an on-demand basis

Grade C (pro-rata) £9.18 per hour

Key elements of the role: Team working, room preparation, paper and stationery distribution, taking attendance registers, supervising students, enforcing regulations, reporting disruption/incidents, follow instructions, punctual, reliable, flexible, good written and speaking skills.

Training: Training will be provided and is a compulsory requirement for the role. Successful candidates will be required to attend the next available training session.
