Additional Features
We have included a number of
features to make finding information easier.
Search
This website has a search box
at the top right of each page. Enter a subject keyword most closely related to the
information you are trying to find. The results page will provide a list of links
which most closely match your enquiry. If you do not find what you are looking for,
try another keyword, or use the advanced tools on the top of the search results
screen to refine your search further.
Site Map
Our site map provides a logical structure
of the website, listing each category and the information it holds. You can access
the site map from the link at the top of every page.
Accessibility
We try to ensure
our pages can be accessed by as many people as possible. The site has been designed
to strict HTML guidelines, and each page has been thoroughly tested to meet the
W3C DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional schema. In addition, throughout the development of
this site we have followed the guidelines set out by the Web Accessibility Initiative.
Using plugins
Some of the content on this website requires
that a small program, known as a 'plugin', is installed on your machine. Two of
the most popular plugins required by websites today are the Adobe Acrobat Reader
and the Adobe Flash Player (both available free from http://www.adobe.com).
Printing
pages
On certain websites, printing web pages can be a problem. Often the amount
of information on the screen doesn't fit the A4 paper format of your printer, meaning
that information can be lost.
Internet Explorer 7 provides a new print function,
automatically adjusting the size of the web page to fit on A4 paper. All of the
‘School Policies’ and ‘About Us’ pages have the option of downloading the content
as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF document.
